Hi, I am a child and adolescent (11-19 year olds) Integrative Councillor with 30 years of experience working with children and young people with additional needs, across a range of settings including: youth clubs, outreach, residential care for children and young people, young offenders institute, youth justice, victim services, early intervention and fostering.
Qualifying at the Iron Mill College in Exeter Via Worcester University I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, working within their ethical framework.
As an Integrative Counsellor, I use a number of theories and practises to help my clients with early life trauma and their current emotional wellbeing, using compassion and empathy to establish strong, supportive and safe non-judgemental relationships for long term healing. This allows my clients to feel seen, heard and understood as well as gaining insight into how they work by offering accessible psycho education.
